Invitation from RF Ministry of Energy to participate in the international contest "Arctic 2018"

JSC "GTL" is invited to participate in the international contest "Arctic 2018", which is held with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.

The implementation of offshore projects is one of the priorities for the development of the oil and gas complex of the Russian Federation. In this regard, the Government of the Russian Federation pays special attention to the search for new technical solutions that enhance their economic attractiveness.

With the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, an international competition of scientific, scientific, technical and innovative developments aimed at developing and developing the Arctic and the continental shelf is held.

For the contest in 2014 73 works were submitted from 35 companies, in 2015 - 93 works from 47 organizations. Summing up the results of the competition and awarding its laureates was held in St. Petersburg at international forums on the development of the Arctic and the continental shelf, conducted in accordance with the orders of the Government of the Russian Federation.

The Government of the Russian Federation (No. P-9-31120 of June 22, 2015) instructed the interested federal executive bodies and organizations to study the issue of introducing technologies and technical solutions reflected in the works of the laureates of the competition, involving organizations of relevant industries and assisting in implementation of their projects.

As a result of the competition, the book "Russian Innovative Technologies for Development of Hydrocarbon Resources of the Continental Shelf" was published in Russian and English languages, including works by its laureates.

During the work of the technological platform, one can already observe the birth of new domestic innovative technologies, which have no analogues in the world, some of them have already been implemented and are being actively used in the Arctic and offshore.
