From the 28th of September to 4th of October 2015 the JSC "GTL"`s delegacy performed works of the factory building that processes associated petroleum gas into the liquid hydrocarbons with a capacity of 100 000 tonnes per year.

The meeting with the the Minister of Minerals Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Sadiq Al-Karur was held. During the technological agreement the composition of the flared associated gas, geophysical, seismological and climate conditions of the future building platform were explored. Associated flare gas is separated from the petroleum and supplies to the building platform with the pipelines.

CO2 included into the gas will be used as an oxidizer for alcohols producing in the direct synthesis reactors.

A schedule of accelerated construction of the factory with the phased commissioning of finished units into operation and obtaining the finished products, for both the domestic market and export was agreed. From the flare gas as a standalone product the propane- butane fraction will be extracted, the rest of the gas will be processed into high-quality gasoline and diesel fuel with the GTL technology.

JSC «GTL» will be the general contractor for the building and delivery of proprietary non-standard equipment, its installation, staff training and implementation of commissioning work. Supply of the standard equipment and auxiliary construction work will be carried out by subcontracted organizations, elected through open tender in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Sudan.

To coordinate the work on the construction of the factory and its subsequent management, the public company Sudapet and JSC «GTL» are creating a joint venture with equity participation of 51 % and 49 % respectively. The representative of JSC «GTL» will be appointed as the CEO of the company. After the completion of the first stage of the factory, the parties considered the ability to run more power plants, mainly for export.

As a result of negotiations in Khartoum the delegation of JSC «GTL»together with the Sudanese side agreed and initialed an agreement on construction of a factory for the processing of associated petroleum gas in the province of South Kordofan, the Republic of Sudan.

The official signing is scheduled on 19-20 October 2015, Moscowduring the delegation headed by the Vice-President of the Republic of Sudan Hassabu Muhammad 'Abd al – Rahman`s visit.
