GTL will start the factory that processing of APG in the Sudan in May 2017

The factory that process the associated petroleum gas (APG) into gasoline and diesel fuel in the Sudan, which will be built by the GTL Russia jointly with the Sudanese Sudapet, will be launched in May 2017, the press service of the Russian company reported to RIA Novosti.

"Launching production of gasoline and diesel units is scheduled for May 2017," - said the press service . The first gas treatment block with separation as a commercial product propane-butane fraction will be put into operation in August 2016, the company noted.

Earlier, on Tuesday, GTL has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Oil of the Sudan to build a factory for the processing of APG, the cost will be $ 70 million, the processing capacity - 100 thousand tons of fuel per year. A company representative said that the factory will use up to 80% of Russian equipment, delivery of which will begin in February 2016. GTL leading venture projects, allocates them into independent business programs in the form of joint ventures with strategic investors. The company has participated in the creation of reactors for the homogeneous oxidation of natural and associated gas, development of a method of oxidation of natural and associated gas, performs research and development work to determine the parameters of the thermal activation of methane molecules, ethane, propane, butane reactors direct synthesis of liquid hydrocarbons and alcohols.
