Beijing and Khartoum signed a framework agreement on the construction of the first in the Sudan nuclear power plant, reports Xinhua News Agency.

As it was stated by the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning of Sudan Badr-Eddin Mahmoud (Badr-Eddin Mahmoud), the agreement with the Chinese side also involves the difficulties that may arise during the implementation of projects nuclear power plants, "Al-Fula" (Al-Fula) and transmission lines in the province of Kordofan. China at the meeting, held in Khartoum, was represented by the head of GasEnergoService PRC Nur, Bekri.

The Chinese delegation is on a three-day visit to Sudan, where they arrived on Sunday. Badr-Eddin Mahmoud, according to the Xinhua, called the meeting of the parties as the opening of a new page in the history of cooperation between Sudan and China.
